I wonder if there will be the same level of uproar when Kyrgios steps foot on a tennis court given he has just admitted assaulting his ex? I don't expect to see Greenwood play again in England for a long while due to the optics of it so he'll probably go abroad however is he that much worse than someone like Kyrgios or is it just because he is a footballer? I do appreciate that the offence Greenwood was accused of was probably a level above that of Kyrgios however should they be treated that much differently?

No but they will be. Media attention and the fan base especially is so different for football. Not as if you get to hurl abuse from the stands at tennis tournaments.

he was seeing her in breach of his bail conditions as well yet the police did nothing

And you know this for a fact? Or have you read it in the papers? Because I can assure you, if he had breached his conditions whilst on bail for a domestic attempted rape, and there was evidence of that, there is no way on God’s earth the police would just do nothing.

I appreciate Liverpool is the club of Angels. However, I don't think God himself is going to apply to be the new owner :)
Lots think there will be a second coming so you never know.
I just don’t want a owner who executes his people without a second thought.
apart from that I am not bothered.
but hopefully it will be a Liverpool fan.

I blame the parents for how children/young men behave in society.

Some don’t have a stable father figure in their lives which doesn’t help.

Greenwood isn’t a grown man, he’s still only a young boy whose been given too much, too soon.

As a parent we all have a responsibility to educate our children on how to treat others and especially in a relationship.
What age do you think he’s a grown man ?
violence against anyone isn’t acceptable.
imo 18 yrs old your a man ,the maturity varies of course.
but blaming parents is not always the case.
my mate and his wife are the salt of the earth you would not find a nicer couple ,But their son is in jail for drug related offences.

I'm wondering, would Liverpool fans prefer to see some rich owners from the Middle East, or Mike Ashley as owner?
Realistically there's no such thing as a 'good' billionaire.

Would I like us to spend more? I'd like to see us compete to sign the best players for the club and right now that means spend. I have to admit to being a little confused by what has happened with FSG in the last few years. Bringing Klopp in was huge, and the model of signing players in the 22-27 age bracket who were 'on the cusp' clearly worked. We won everything. However since then that model seems to have stalled, whether it's the personnel making the transfers changing or Jurgen making the decision or elsewhere - the fact is since we won the league the only midfielder we've signed is Thiago. That doesn't fit the model which worked.

My assumption is that FSG, having bought the club for c. £300m, have essentially put a zero on the end of that and believe their investment has peaked. They're moneymen, who use sport to make their money. It worked for us for a while and the "spend what we earn" model worked. The investment in the stadium and the training ground are phenomenal and for me the idea that given the vast amounts of money we do earn there should be more available for players but it's very clear that isn't happening right now for whatever reason. The lack of movement for top players in the past is a reason that suggests to me we might wish to be in the running for Bellingham but in the end it won't happen.

Would I like someone new to come in? See my first comment. Who can afford £3-5 billion, depending on where you get your valuations from? Not many people at all. Looking at the pool of options, at the moment I'd still say we've got one of the better options.

The sky sports article I linked earlier does shed some light regarding transfers etc

Chelsea very disjointed, no fluidity or link up.
Great credit to Fulham, very well organised, players worked hard they have a good spirit. Tete was definitely man of the match. William played very well lots of energy.
Pride of London……🤔😂😂

Only saw a bit of the game.
How did Mudryk do? I see he got taken off and hardly touched the ball when I was watching.
