That's not an only EV feature.

Difference is you're cool, but lose 46 miles off your journey

Well no you actually lose nothing from your journey as the pre condition of the cabin uses less energy than if you get into the car and select the air con.. it has to work harder than uses up more energy as opposed to heating/cooling the cabin to the target temperature slower...

It's simple science.

I am finding the more and more distance I drive the less issues im getting. I thought I'd have more driving long distances with my slower recharge speed. Was fine. Thought driving abroad would make it tougher. Nope the chargers have a language select button..very helpful.

The Skoda will arrive soon with even more range (300 as opposed to 250) and faster recharge speed (130kwh as opposed to 80kwh) combined with a bigger boot we plan to do more road trips now. With a bit more comfort for the kids as they get bigger as it's that bit wider.

Charging is the last of my worries these days, when we went Disney I was more worried id have a crash before we went and have to take the wife's car which range is fine but boot would have carried nothing compared to the kia

My car has the function. It’s an example as it is fact.

Yes thats ventilation, not cabin precondition. Had it on a former car, pretty useless tbh.
I can set my car to specific temp between 16 and 25 . You sir cannot

What do you mean trolling ? The ventilation option on a BMW is rubbish and of no real use and I speak from experience. It can circulate ambient air, mine can cool it by firing up the Aircon remotely.

I believe the bmws can remote air condition now aswell , they have put it in some models

I do know some auto ones have it , but it requires remote engine start which is a waste of fuel surely i thought only EVs lost miles

Non Tesla cars IE the traditional people have cottoned onto how important it is to have an app and now love to charge you!

The wife's Kona was going to £30 a year after the 5 year warranty ends

My Kia is 7 years so 5.5 years left on it
