The Actual Golf On Liv Golf Thread

I'm not sure they've got the format just right for the Team championship yet, I'd like to see the other teams that aren't fighting for the title still being shown on the pylon, but this is so close at the end - incredibly tight.
A tricky one, can understand the focus on the top bracket, showing as much of them as can. Lost count of how many times the lead changed.
But missed some good individual scores (64, 65) from further down, plus the top 2 teams in bracket 2 were the lowest on the day.
Even ol' Majesticks 'won' bracket 3 😆

Final standings from the Team Championship - Koepka shot an 80 - I don't think he was very happy about Smash getting knocked out on day 1 🤣

Maridoe will be back next year as part of the schedule, not sure if they'll host the final event again or if it will be for a regular season fixture, but the course looked great and worthy of hosting some of the top players in the game.

Great win for Rippers - which will just magnify the vibe when we head out to Adelaide next February.

That's it, the season is over, another successful year of growth and improvement for LIV. We can look forward to 60 players next time and 14 teams competing, be interesting to see who joins over the off season.32b8b612-145c-4500-84a0-619c9d2ec352.jpeg

Link now up to set your teams and join the league if you wish.
Slightly different format this year with players zoned into groups.

All four scores will count this year on each day as well this year in the actual golf - suspect this will be a significant benefit to teams that have a strong line up.

Happy with my teams 1st day of work #FantasyLivGolf

I'm away working so missed it yesterday.
Watched highlights this morning, looked great under the lights..

Great start for Mckibbin, definitely a top young talent.
Hatton is just a machine recently and shock of all shocks The Majesticks are in the mix.

Really great to see Westwood playing some good stuff again.

Was just going to post that it looked like Meronk had a strong grip on this, before I popped up to t'Lidl, and I've come back from t'Lidl to see Meronk has thrown a couple of bogeys on the card to put himself back within touching distance.
Putting looks trick under the lights - but I sense a play off coming here.

Team event, Legion XIII are out of sight, and suspect that could be repeated a few times this year.

Typical golf though - swing changes in off season, make the game look easy. Until into the sharp end, where the changes (& related mental side) are maybe not as embedded as thought...

Think I counted 7 nationalities at the top end of the leaderboard, Polish, Colombian, Spanish, South African, Australian, English, and an American in the top 6 places.

Solid win for Meronk in the end. Cleeks dining well in Australia next week. (y)
