Any body ever used one with any success?
I'm looking at buying something to help me stop casting out / coming over the top.
When I start doing it become so destructive (mostly s***k every shot)
Worst thing is knowing what causes it but finding it very hard to stop it.

There are various gadgets out there just wondered if anybody could recommend one that's helped in the past.

Cheers,
Jim.

i always shy away from things like this. I like to go to the range when I know what the issue is and work on it. If i dont know what the issue is I take a lesson. I dont think I have been much help there but imo if you know what the issue is use the range and really nuckle down and work it through.

Hi Jim.

It may come as a surprise that I'd suggest a lesson first. You're obviously a reasonable player by your h'cap. So you must have been doing something right to get there in the first place.

I'm a great believer in having someone diagnose what's causing the problem first. Even if it's just posting your swing on here. I'm sure that Bobmac will lend his experiance for such purposes.

After that it's a case of practice and as you say there are a number of products that can help with casting.

The slice eliminator is good, but does need to be positioned correctly to have an effect.

The refiner (hinged) clubs are very good for casting, and you can hit a ball with it as well.

The Smartpath is good for swingpath, but it's slightly more than the new T2hole, which helps with a multitude of things.

Though of course, you could just put a headcover behind and just outside the swing path and try to miss it.

If you have any questions about a particular product, I'd be happy to help.

Cheers.
Graham

Cheers guys,
Had a few lessons in the past which helped, so just need to go back throgh what i learnt.

That t2hole looks good, might help ingrain the correct path.
tried the headcover trick before... kept launching it down the range LOL

The throw at the top or out to in swing as it's called is one of the most common faults and the hardest to cure.
I have had lots of success using the NMS Fault fixer.
Basically, if you throw from the top you will hit the yellow tubes.
Ask around your area if any of your local pros have one and give it a go.
HTH :)
If you've got pots in the bank they cost around £200-£250 Or they often pop up on ebay as here
