Swaying

Can you give us a bit more info divot? I'm sure there'll be plenty of folk that will spot your problem, and have a cure or tips.

Feel that you load your weight onto the inside edge of your back foot, not the outside, and this will anchor your leg and stop you swaying.

When you say swaying do you mean you have some lateral movment towards your target/ into your left side?

You will always have some lateral movment both in the back swing and in the through swing by saying that your swaying sounds like your over doing it.

one simple practice tip

Take an old shaft and place it about four inches outside your left hip now swing away as normal and try not to hit it with your hip.you should have about three inches (May be different for others)of lateral movement then the rest is rotation towards your target.

I have recently had this problem as well and got a lesson to try and fix it, and was told that on the downswing just concentrate on forcing your hips round so they clear allowing your hands to swing through. To try and help the timing of it I was told to start turning my right leg towards the target as I start my downswing and this should make your hips go straight round rather than towards the target and then round.

Hope this mkaes some sort of sense for you.

I'll have a fix for this.....probably more than 6 in my books and memory bank.

I'm guessing bunkered is now fixed????

Comfortably Numb (Gilmour, Waters)

Hello?
Is there anybody out (in) there?
Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone at home?
Come on, now,
I hear you're feeling down.
Well I can ease your pain
Get you on your feet again.
Relax.
I'll need some information first.
Just the basic facts.
Can you show me where it hurts?

ok real, had a lesson last week i found out i was sliding instead of turning through on the downswing, pro said try and straighten left leg on the downswing, finding this quite hard to do and hit the ball at the same time.

Have a read here.....looks quite sensible....

For some reason I can't cut n paste the complete site address, anyway, its the Canadian PGA, Tips, Finishing drill.

It sounds a tad mad, but if you think about the finish more your body should react better to turning through to the finish rather than just swaying.
