Steepest par three.

Shropshire has its fair share of steep par 3's , Church Stretton already mentioned , 18th is severely downhill as is the 7th at Market Drayton and the 7th at Wrekin but the steepest I've played so far is the 9th at Moffat https://www.moffatgolfclub.co.uk/the-course/

Just remembered the 2 par 3s @ Carluke GC , the 11th is just a flick straight down the hill, the 12th a drive-able uphill 240 ish yards with a really steep elevation.

also next door is the 18th hole at Sandy lodge (which is an annoying finishing hole for golf course in my opinion

A bloody hate this hole. The amount of times I've left my ball somewhere on that rough incline and made a 5 or 6. I must have played Ricky ten or twelve times now and I still don't know what club to use on that one. 170 something yards but it plays like 200+.

I haven't played it for years but like yourself, when I did, I could never find the green. From memory it a very narrow one

Yeah, quite wide but front to back is no distance. I sometimes feel your best bet is aiming long and right towards the next tee and chip back across - walk away with a 4 no harm done! I'm not sure I've ever landed it on the green, best I've done is probably just off the back and right as I say.

only one i can think of up here is the 13th at Muir of Ord, its only 110 i think, but straight uphill to a tiny green, i don't think I've ever hit the bloody thing

TBH that little animated Video dosent do it justice, it like trying to play onto the Mountain on "Close Encounters "
