so close to placing for the first time

today we had a 4BBB stableford comp, and i played crap to start, thankfully my partner never, i picked my act up at about the 7th, and we went out in 19, coming back i finally made use of the shots i get and we posted a 21 in, total 40points,

we where 3rd when i left with 1st and 2nd on 42points, having just checked we ended up 7th with 3rd, 4th, 5th on 41points

im chuffed that i showed i can play and contribute, and soon a placed finished isnt far away!!

another bonus i didnt lose a ball today my 3rd ever round doing so lol

good to see someone taking the positives from their round - that way lies enjoyment rather than frustration.

Other way round. I started great and my partner fell away. By the time I collapsed he'd given up mentally and so we were never going to get placed. Its great when you can make a difference to the team scores and take the positive vibes with you and use them when you play individually as well
