Snapping tee's

I always pick up everyone elses tees, havent bought any in 3 years now

+1 yeah always pick up a couple of nice broken ones for irons and 3 wood use on every tee box.
I also use 70mm driver tees and 75% of the time they can be re-used because I only insert them in the ground enough for them to stay upright.
So my last purchase of tees was about 3 years ago!
Although just purchased a pack of personalised ones! :-/

Cheapo tees break easier than good ones, but I think you also have more chance of breaking one if you hit down on the ball, which lots of people do even with driver.

I go through patches of breaking lots then hardly breaking any at all.

I think alot depends on the quality of tee too, for example the ones you get free at the belfry do not snap,ok and over exaggeration but it's not often. I can use one of their tee'sfir 2-3 rounds before it snaps.

* note to self, speak to belfry about tee's*

Does anyone know where you can get custom fit for tees, I think it would help my game if I had the correct equipment, and over time I would probably recoup the cost of the fitting if they break less.

Thanks guys.

Google "Lees Tees" and get yourself a gratis pack of their tees.
They cost more per Tee than normal but I've only had a couple of boxes and they last for ages.
I first read about them in a Bill Elliot article a few years ago IIRC.

As a 13 h/cap, I would suggest a zero friction tee with a firm shaft and a high kick point. That will maximise your swing speed, increasing your ball speed, producing a better trajectory and eliminate your slice.
Only £130 for 3 :)

Are you sure he's good enough for a firm shaft - surely they are only for cat 1 players?

I've been using the orange rubber tees that you use at the driving range over the last month, they're very good and dont even get worn..even I surprise myself!!

Don't let he's handicap guide you bob, he swings like he's chopping logs, I reckon he needs an x flex tee
