I think that rolling the ball one turn is a better idea than having the bunker out of play totally.

I think that is why the sc is so good. Giving you the depth and the facility to move the pin to an approximate position on the green means you know how far you need to go up the green. SOme courses give yardages to the front and others to the centre. This gives you a definitive number.
