Huge try for Ireland. NZ will be fuming to let that try happen after Bundee had to take that pass so high. The momentum was killed but still Ireland made it work.

The pass from the line out was world class there. So flat and low and ramps up the pace which Ireland weren’t ready to defend. Hard from here.

When did rugby players start throwing themselves on the ground at the lightest touch, to convince the ref they've been obstructed?
Never seen it before today.

So now we’ll talk about that no hands tackle!

NZ were superb and for the first time really in this World Cup, Ireland’s defence wasn’t on top.

Just hope that NZ take that performance into the rest of the World Cup. Ireland will rue the penalty count and a couple of missed opportunities.

Would like to hope that the other quarters will be as good! No chance!

Sexton was well unhappy about something at the very end - or was he just p’d off about losing…?
His missed kick arguably cost Ireland the game. If he makes that and the game pans out the same way, he has an easy drop goal for the win in that last passage of play. But if he was pointing out that NZ should’ve been down to 14 men, he’s still probably right.

I got the impression that it was the latter.
