Rickie's high tops & jogger golf trousers - who's buying them?

I can get the look by buying regular length trousers!

I was thinking maybe if they were in a nice tartan or plaid with some high socks..... and some brown boots rather than white. Could be a new look..........................

I like em, I'd buy them. Nothing wrong with them, they look cool and smart for the course too.

Just wear trainers on the way to the course, and change into shorts or other bottoms after your shower. Sorted.

I really don't see the issue with it. It's 2016 not 1916.

I think this has to be my one annoyance (if you can call it that) with golf. Too many people are stuck in the past - they need to move on with the times.

so looking like an 80's rapper is not stuck in the past then???:rofl:

I have no problem moving with the times, I just happen to think he looks ridiculous

It seems that moving with the times is reviving the styles of the past. The styles that everyone moved on from because they had become a bit naff. So we move with the times, on from the stuff that's naff and bring back the stuff that was naff so that we are moving with the times... I think that's how it works.

I love the "move with the times" airblaff that people love to spout... Moving on doesn't always represent progress.

Anyway, high-tops and excrement catcher joggy duds... this wasn't even ok at the time when it wasn't moving with the times.
Hideous and hopefully the times will move on and leave this behind.

I wouldn't say he looks anything like an 80s rapper to be honest. What makes you think that?

I'm all for the Fowler trousers, don't get me wrong.

I imagine patricks' referring to something like this:

Fowler doesn't look like anything in the 80's - he looks like the pic from the 'teenies' or whatever they call this decade - you oldies (and im one of them) need to get with the times Grandad.

life and fashion moves on - and golf will too.............

I like the shoes but you'd have to have the trousers too, which I probably wouldn't wear as I don't think I would look good in them.
i also not think you'd be able to wear those shoes with normal trousers so I'd be a little stuck!
