When someone at work asks me for something and CC's their manager to try to get me to hurry up.
Well done, now two people have to wait.

In fairness I only do this when my manager is nagging me to chase something up that I don't really want to - it's just proof that they've done as they've been asked. Rather than trying to add pressure on the person you're sending it to.

The wife has gone to the chemist to get a prescription.
The NHS app wouldn’t work so they have refused to give her the tablets.
She had to go home and print it out and take it back.
Not blaming anyone but it’s a lot of faffing about and in future she won’t bother with the app.
Me I have snuck in a couple of pints in Weatherspoons so probably should of posted this in gladden the heart thread

Yeah ours does that as well, but we don't want it doing that during a day when nobody's even there.

Mine goes off when people start leaving the windows open, left ‘em open to late and the room is cold. Tough!

When did the change from GB to UK happen ?

Great Britain is the island that compromises - Scotland , England and Wales

United Kingdom is Great Britain with Northern Ireland

GB is a geographical term for the island

British Isles covered both Great Britain and the island of Ireland ( again geographical)!

If you go on an international site, when it asks your country GB is gone, it's UK now.

It turns out @Imurg may have been on the money after all.

My club has just arrived back with me - buyer posted it back because he'd already had his refund and bought a replacement (cost me £20 for Royal Mail this time but not worried about that).

Ebay have deposited £242 back in my Ebay balance - somehow they've not clocked that I actually terminated the transaction with my bank when they tried to charge me for the refund before. So in theory I could withdraw this money, which would mean I've been paid twice, to the tune of about £485 - and I also still have the club back in my possession. All's well that ends well!

Note: I'm not actually going to do that, I'll be leaving that £242 in my Ebay balance for the day when they suddenly realise what's happened... But I'll certainly be selling this club for a second time now. Just a debate whether I go back on Ebay or try elsewhere.

I put 2 clubs on Vinted last night, sold them but midday today for the exact asking price. Buyers have set the parcel to be delivered with InPost, nice and easy take it to our village shop they scan the QR code in the Vinted app, soon as it’s delivered the money is released to me by Vinted.

Literally couldn’t have been easier.

Drivers who cannot see indicators on oncoming cars.
Twice today I was indicating to turn right and the on coming car stopped across the turning. Due to parked cars there was no way of getting past me until I turned right.
