Random Irritations

Going to a music festival a week on Friday, the fancy dress theme for the Saturday is flower power which means there's just going to be loads of people in roughly the same costume
I did speak to the festival organiser about it last week (he's a good friend) and he said just anything 60's or 70's but I'm still stumped.
Hate fancy dress for the very reason I can never decide what to go as :ROFLMAO:
Just go as yourself..nobody will notice....😋

If it's flower power naked will be acceptable.
Not pretty, but acceptable.

I am waiting on delivery of a club by Evri. I am having it sent to work as the opening hours are better than a home delivery. They tried Friday, we were shut. No problem, two more attempts. Nothing yesterday, today I get an out for delivery notice, between 7.30-8.30pm. It's a work address, we are shut . The delivery driver knows it is a works address, they came on Friday. I can't get it re-directed to home, they don't allow this, nor do they have a hub I can collect from. Fingers crossed for day 3 then.
Lucky for me, the Evri driver completely ignored his routing and has just delivered my new club 😊. He said he knew we wouldn't be open later and so came early deliberately. Top man (y)

Easy.
Jeans and a tee-shirt.
Then you get a few female relatives and/or friends to lend you plenty of accessories.

Something like this

Don’t think it’s a random irritation but not sure where to post it

Watching ER at the moment and it’s the storyline of one of them getting HIV

I remember 80’s and then 90’s when it was huge news when someone contracted HIV and then passed away it was front page news

Now you don’t hear a peep about HIV , has it got to the stage where medication is reducing the impact of HIV and are less people catching it ?

Our doctors I’m sure like many have changed the way they now operate.
You have to send them an email and then they call you back.
My father in law has been quite ill the last couple of days. Nothing too serious but he has been coughing his guts up and because he has asthma he cant catch his breath sometimes.
Emailed them yesterday but didn’t receive any callbacks.
Done the same thing this morning and they just called back and said the doctor can see him at 15.00 next Monday.
Not sure the poor old sod will make it that long.
I have offered to take him to A&E but mother in law won’t have it.

Try 111, always had good service from them and will advise if hospital is required.

The mother in law did and they just said follow doctors instructions.
They seemed reluctant to say much incase they contradicted the doctors.
Which I understand.
Think I’m going to put my foot down and take him to A&E

Sounds very much like the latest version of COvid, some of the NHS staff this way are dubbing Frankenstein COVID. You are not able to clear your throat/lungs with coughing and can (and I did) make you vomit as a result. It’s not nice, but the tests don’t tell you positive.
