An aside:
Some years back I had our boarding passes downloaded to my phone. I felt pretty cool for a 70's+
Anyhow, our flight was delayed by an hour or so.
When we joined the boarding queue I remarked to my wife "Look how many people in this queue are clutching A4 paper sheets of their boarding pass when all they have to do is load them onto their phone".
We had priority boarding. When we were asked for our boarding pass I called it up to find a screen message "Your flight has already departed".
After a lengthy conversation we were asked to step aside and were eventually allowed to board last.
I am now firmly a belt and braces man

I’m of similar vein. Phone and paper. We were at our local comedy club last week, comedian doing a stint about old age/ young age, asked who printed out their tickets. Being very brave, I stuck my hand up to receive the expected wave of laughter at my old age habits, when she said, ‘That’s why he got straight in and was first at the bar while you lot were stood outside frantically trying to find your tickets on your phone’.

Ebay have mucked me around as well now so I might have to find a new route to sell clubs in future. But whatever it is, I won't be using Evri again!

It's getting too much of a PITA selling on Ebay these days....postage costs are mental unless you want to risk Evri..and insurance costs are insane.
I had a delivery the other day...Simple Delivery they called it...
The parcel got wrongly routed 3 times before it got to me..took a week and a half for a 2 day service. Yeah..very simple...
And, as you've discovered, if so thing goes wrong.....

I have been selling/buying via the yellow pages and ebay for well over 20 years and used every parcel delivery company going at one time or another. I have never had one that I did not have problems with. At least for me when I have had problems with Evri they have compensated me within a reasonable time.

I totally dislike ebay insisting on me using a particular delivery company and never got a refund from them for an Evri label I did not need having agreed Parcel Force 24 with the buyer. Not sold anything on there since.

As if by magic, Evri must have found the parcel as it's out for delivery today! They just misplaced it for two weeks.

A few years ago I sold a shaft on Ebay...Hermes, as was, promptly lost it.
The buyer was refunded, I got refunded so everyone was OK..
3 months later it gets delivered - back to me......result!

I'm not sure what's going to happen. Ebay were still trying to charge me for the refund this week and telling me to lodge a claim with Packlink for the lost item (which I did a week ago). However, I actually blocked their attempt to charge me with my bank because they attempted to charge the wrong account that I expressly told them not to. I don't think I'm going to be in the situation you had because I'll have to pay out for this refund one way or another, but then the buyer has said he's happy to return the club to me. The fact that you got your money and the item back must have been an error on their part!

I have to take the feline to the vet this morning...it's on regular blood tests.
Said feline can be a little, let's say, feisty when she wants to be and they've had problems getting blood samples in the past.
So we've got a sedative to give her, one dose the night before, one dose 2 hours before. Chills her out big time.
Previously, we've mixed the fluid with a creamy treat that she doesn't eat..she inhales it...gone in seconds..
Gave her the dose last night.....Nah, not having that....
Gave her the dose just now...Nah, not having that..
So she's going in un-sedated.....good job I haven't got to hang on to her while she's being stabbed.....
Stupid bloody cat...

Nothing yesterday, today I get an out for delivery notice, between 7.30-8.30pm. It's a work address, we are shut . The delivery driver knows it is a works address, they came on Friday. I can't get it re-directed to home, they don't allow this, nor do they have a hub I can collect from. Fingers crossed for day 3 then.

I definitely won't be using Evri to send anything ever again, and if I buy anything on Ebay I'll be trying to request the seller doesn't use them! A literal joke of a company.

With most of the other companies now you can redirect to a shop / petrol station or similar. No problem, pick it up any time. I can drop off a parcel for Evri to deliver 300 metres away from work at a petrol station. Can't redirect it to there though, even though it is open 6-10pm . Just poor.

Going to a music festival a week on Friday, the fancy dress theme for the Saturday is flower power which means there's just going to be loads of people in roughly the same costume
I did speak to the festival organiser about it last week (he's a good friend) and he said just anything 60's or 70's but I'm still stumped.
