And you wonder why you get surprised out on the road.

My mother-in- law does this.Went out today to Dakwala in Newcastle today with my wife and in-laws, Indian restaurant. Bloomin lovely. Anyway they got a side dish of cauliflower in something. Apparently it was nice and they wanted me to try it. I hate cauliflower with a passion, it was not going to enter my mouth. They kept trying, it was like Mrs Doyle with a cup of tea. Why? Why try to force someone to eat something?

When she does dinner she makes exactly the same for everyone despite different tastes.
Love when the family go round for Sunday Dinner as only me and one other like sprouts.
I end up with about 20 of them on my plate and give up my bit of broccoli.
The best bit is I get so many I can try them with all the different sauces without worrying I’ll run out.A man after my own heart.![]()
Greater love hath no man than that he give up his beer fridge....One of the kids has been taken into hospital and it’s meant to be her baby shower tomorrow.
All fine with her and the baby but not sure if she will be let out tonight.
The rest of the family have been decorating and running around all day to get it all nice for her.
I really hope it can go ahead for her.
I even gave up my beer fridge for pink cupcakes.![]()

Couldn’t agree more.Trump’s comments on the death of Robert Mueller. Absolutely vile.
If I want to add a reaction it’ll be on any closing statement - or if it might be misconstrued or misinterpreted I won’t, better to respond with a word or two instead. Bit like the difference between responding to a text message to and actually speaking to the sender.Couldn’t agree more.
I tried to post a reaction butseemed as if I was in favour of the comments and
looked as if I was angry with the post. Not sure of the protocol here.

How to organise a baby shower by Lucifer. It looks like the baby might make it for her own baby shower.
I’m now driving round getting everything together for the shower as the wife was meant to be doing it but she is at the hospital cause the daughter wants her there.
Anyone got any idea how you decorate for a baby shower?
Also do I leave any money behind the bar?
Fish out of water springs to mind![]()

Ring round the girls due to attend. Advise of the situation and how as a proud grandad you want their assistance to make it perfect. They come round decorate and sort everything whilst you act as a gopher getting bit they need and provide drinks. Daughter and wife turn up, you stand back beaming look at what I arranged
Technically not lying as you arranged everyone getting together and get top dog credits and look like a loving grandad to all the ladies![]()
People where I live panic buying petrol/diesel to the point all 3 local garages are all out. There’s plenty to go round imagine if we did actually go to war modern society and panic merchants would crumble![]()
