Random Irritations

That's my thinking with this. It's just that it happened on a really cold day so it stood out.
Hope you've got it working. Dad's stopped working once earlier this year. The condensate trap was blocked. Never had a combi myself so was clueless. Heating guy came out and said it was the cause of most combi shut-downs.
It took him 10 minutes. He said I should look on YouTube and do it myself if it happens again. It's a 10-year old Worcester Bosch.

Mines a WB, but when they put mine in the condensate drain pipe was piped at 30mm once it almost made it outside to stop any chance of blackage. :)

It depends if it repeats itself. First time it's happened so it might not be sinister. If it does it again then I'll get the plumber who installed it back in.

Could the drop in temps have caused it? First time for this boiler to have experienced a drop like that, it was installed around September time.

Never experienced a drop like that myself although the old '(pressure x volume) / temperature' does come to mind would the temperature drop be sufficient to lower the pressure to the point where the boiler will not fire.

Worth checking it everyday. I do mine frequently. (assuming the boiler is in a good enough location to do it easily).

So....the Legal Explosives Dept has been in full flow for the last couple of hours....about 6 to go....why start so early?

Unpopular opinion...if it's for the kids that can't stay up until midnight then they're too young to get New Year...

And did anyone celebrating the New Year read the Terms and Conditions..?

I saw the “legal explosives dept,” and thought you’d had some of the out of date milk… ;) :ROFLMAO:

Hopefully, I will be able to see out of both eyes o_Osoon.

I spotted a ‘granny whisker’ on Mrs H’s chin and, foolishly, told her.

Tardiness, absolutely winds me up. Arranges to meet someone as was doing them a favour. Meant to meet at 4pm today, it’s now an hour and half later and I’m still waiting for them as they only had the decency to tell me they’d be late after the arranged meet Time and they’d not even left their house at that point. But if I left then I’d have and hours drive back home to explain to Mrs M I couldn’t be bothered to wait even though I’d agreed to help someone for her 😒

Absolutely. Utter selfishness that puts rescuers at risk never mind themselves
No matter how idiotic some hill walkers/climbers are the rescue services will never ridicule them.
The reason is because any negative response may stop other brainless fools from calling them out.

Bet there is lots of gum bumping in the office though. ;)

Theres ofering to help someone and theres having them take the pess. In your instance, I would have left them to it.
