Not going to be a nice week in hospitals this week with the flu epidemic and junior docs going on strike

Is it really an epidemic? Last week they were reporting about 2500 cases in hospitals. When I looked we have about 750 large hospitals so only a handful of cases in each one?

It been the best of mornings so far. First day back home the boilers decided it no longer wants to provide hot water and I’ve somehow managed to break a tooth clean in half eating breakfast

Ah. the sport of deliberately putting out the wrong bin to see your neighbours come back out, take in the right bin and put out their wrong bin.
Then you swap yours after dark.

Tesco. rampant profiteering.

was the other side of town on Friday so decided to just pop into Asda and get a couple of things.

San Pellegrino small 500ML was a full £1.55 cheaper
the large bottles, almost £2 cheaper
Sugarly sweetener. Asda price £2.85, Tesco £4.50
Radox mens 750ml seafoam Asda £1.65. Tesco £2.
Nutella Ice cream Asda £4.50 Tesco £5.50.

i strongly doubt Asda gets things cheaper than tesco.

I also shop at both (and others) because there are always something cheaper in one than another. My go to shop for cheapness has to be Lidl.

A 2 hour dentist appointment tomorrow to have the prep work for an implant tooth carried out. One of those gotta grin and bear it times

Actually, I get a Council notification weekly, the evening before.
I don't share that with my neighbours though. That'd be no fun.

Blimey! Thought he would go down for a while but didn't expect that much, especially when you compare it to some recent sentences that have been handed out.
