Random Irritations

I wouldn't have my sat nav oriented in any other way. North is up. My brain is wired sufficiently that I can mentally translate left into right and vice versa when travelling south.
...and zoomed out so that the next 50 miles or the entire journey is visible on the screen.

My mate missed three different bits of the route today on the long drive north. His brain wiring must have been tired at these points 🤣🤣

Early middle-aged military wannabe bootcamp fitness twits.

Suicidal pigeons.

An excess of both in my hometown every Saturday early morning.

Tesco don't have a cashier from 7am-8am...I had to scan and pack a trolley of shopping for 4, on my own. Just a complete faff.
On South West trains, I buy a physical ticket to London on days that i travel. I need a mortgage.

They are slowly introducing smart tickets where you scan your phone. They also have the option to use physical tickets. Slowly they are reducing no of gates which accept physical tickets. Now they are down to one gate. So on the rush hour home, digital gates are empty while queue to use the physical tickets. Talk about nudging people away

The Sonos app, what a pile of 💩, 🚽
I saw lots of reports about a year ago that Sonos had updated their app and left users of older hardware out in the cold. Is that what you're referring to? Or have they updated it again and dumped on their customer base from a great height yet again?

I thank heavens I went down the Squeezebox route back in 2005. The system still supports every single device that they ever produced, even though it's now a community effort since Logitech pulled the plug. My first player (an SB2) is still going strong.

I can longer access the SSD music library I have on my router or log into my Spotify account, just keeps asking to log out and back into the account with no effect.

Too many flies in the house now.. not sure where they are coming from? They must be feeding on something.

Also i noticed, they seem to love the large sky lantern (nearly 2m long) in the kitchen. So in morning, there are a fair few dead flies in the kitchen. If ever social services came around, they would rate food hygine as -1
Any one lese has flies problem due to large windows, sky lantern/velux

Fly’s and wasps seem to have gone crazy last week or so, we have our doors open for the dog, but they are getting out of hand.

A beaded fly curtain will keep the vast majority out. We have proper mossie screens but we don’t have the dog to worry about.

My dentist's assistant. The pain of the his gum injections and drilling is nothing compared to what she can inflict jamming that suction tube between cheek and gums.
