I understand that, but if someone is having some issues it could be said someones banter is another persons bullying.

The bloke lives in Scotland and we meet up maybe once a year if we’re lucky, there’s no way we can somehow arrange a meet just to chat, not that I want to given how his words in the group chat, it wasn’t just “eff you” which I can take, it was the attack on my character afterwards that has offended me. Like I said, I’m not his personal psychiatrist and I don’t want to get involved in his mental struggles but at the same time I feel the management should know he isn’t coping at the minute and he has aggressive outbursts. I was at a customer in Newton Stewart a couple of months back and he showed me a message this engineer had sent to him, he was understandably very upset by it, if our management team ever found out about it I’m guessing instant dismissal.
 
How quickly people who love a bit of banter get upset when someone on the receiving end of their banter finally bites back!

Often those who love to dish it out are masking or deflecting something themselves.
 
Anyway in other news, last week the missus finally agreed we could get a dog on the basis that our cat doesn’t go stir crazy when my daughter brings round her dog as a bit of a test.
She’s now changed her mind and isn’t so keen on the idea 🤦🏻

Young lad goes to the freezer, picks out the aforementioned ice cream tub, opens it to find it empty...puts it back and walks away.

1. What kind of psychopath puts an empty ice cream tub back in the freezer...?
2. What higher form of psychopath opens said empty tub and puts it back in again..?

It’s all light hearted stuff and absolutely nothing that I would class as close to the bone. There’s one particular engineer who doesn’t take any ribbing well at all, he goes very dark and and abusive at the drop of a hat sometimes. I’ve ignored most of his abusive comments in the past but last night crossed the line, I’m seriously considering reporting him to the management but…he’s quite obviously losing the plot, he got banned from staying in a particular hotel recently after an argument with the hotel manager, his work standard has plummeted and it looks like he’s on a fast track to a mental breakdown.
If I report him it could push him over the edge but at the same time I’m not his personal psychiatrist. Not sure what to do, our management team are renown for burying their head in the sand and we don’t have a HR department as such. I’m kind of hoping one of the other lads reports him to save me the hassle.

Mmm, why can’t you report him out of concern for his health. Cure the potential health issue and you’ve cured the dark moods etc.

This sounds like it’s a support issue in the first instance. He might welcome the support.

I had two of them !
They have left now .

But on the second one I used to put the empty one back until one of them put it in the bin.
I didn’t buy any more as “ there’s some in the freezer”

Old Alanis struggling. Loved Jagged Little Pill when it came out 30 odd years ago. Her voice isn’t what it once was.
