Our big rivals, the stinking Florida Panthers, winning the Stanley Cup for a second straight year. 
Both their fans will be so happy. We've still won more than them all-time though. 
One sporting piece of trivia from the final - Corey Perry has now lost in the final for the fifth straight year. First with Dallas, then Montreal, Tampa Bay and the last two years with Edmonton. Not sure if any sportsman can claim anything like that.

The Stanley Cup is the trophy given to the champions of the NHL, the top ice hockey league in the world. It is one hell of a trophy as every player/coach gets their name on it.
I was fortunate enough to get my picture with the real thing at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto in March.

Watching Zoot Money's Big Roll Band when, from behind the curtain, Moon appears, pushes the drummer off and does a full Animal from the Muppets stint before a woman follows on and physically drags him off. A couple of hundred open mouths, including the band, watched the ensuing brawl before they disappeared behind the curtain.
Mayhem, but a night to remember!
