In Hull, the small access road between the gardens of the back to back terrace houses are known as ‘10 Foots’.

In Beverley, they are ‘11 Foots’ - not true………….one cannot have terraced houses in Beverley.

I thought back to back terraced houses didn't have gardens (or indeed anything at all) between them?

I was in Beverly on Sunday visiting my daughter. She's in hull for a couple of years but she has been saying how nice Beverly is and we should meet there this time. She was right, it's a lovely town.

I take it Beverly has joined houses rather than terraces 🤣

Really posh places have townhouses and cottages, not terraced houses.

When we were selling our terraced house in Barnsley (many moons ago) I wanted to say it was a 4 story townhouse with courtyard and outbuildings. It was a 2 bed terrace, converted attic, cellar, shared backyard and an outside loo that we didn't dare go in :ROFLMAO:

Needn't have worried..
Home now and FedEx have missed their 4 hour delivery slot by 90 minutes already...
And I still can't "manage" my parcel

I was told this:-
Bank Holiday. Our place is rammed with visitors, so bad that I took my name off the booking in the morning, I was surrounded by 3 and four ball visitors. Anyhoo, It was apparently becasue our Pro didn't change the cost showing on the website as £15 to BH rates (weekend rates). People spotted this, and we were packed. BUT, no one told the catering and guess what? The bar was shut. So our Pro called someone from the head committee to tell them we were rammed and we should have the bar open. They then called someone, who came in to open the bar for about 4 hours. We took a fortune in greenfees and in the four hours in the bar. My irritation, is that no one is monitoring the bookings (The Pro), and keeping the right people informed. We've taken alot of, desperatly needed, money, but OMG we could have taken a damn sight more. If this doesn't tell the people running things that our Pro needs to be given a lot more responsibility, and obviously a better deal, then they are not as smart as they think they are. Give me strength! :oops:

Or you wouldn't have been rammed if not for the cheap price so less people , less money in the bar.. or not even open

Sounds like it was handled spot on
