Random Irritations

Thanks, I have brought a bunch of special insoles for my main footwear (golf, dog walking & everyday) shoes but it's not going away :-(

I might need to look at some Ecco's
I had quite a bad couple of months with pf early last year and it also set off knee issues. All my shoes now either have insoles or are Skechers Arch Fit.

A guy on a local neighbourhood app reacted to a post about ‘dodgy guys walking up and down the street’ with a post saying ‘do they look like illegal immigrants?’. His post was reported and removed and he is now moaning about this. I wonder if he thinks all illegal immigrants walk around with life jackets on so we can tell them apart. Clueless and bigoted.

Had similar at Christmas with one of the great grandparents.. "Mohammad was the most popular name last year that's disgusting this is a British country" I just politely said it's just that it's a popular names with the Muslim community, say 7/10 Muslim boys will be called Mohammad but how many outside the community will be called Oliver , Dave etc. it's a much more even spread of names compared

It is a funny concept to think about. Imagine if like 50% of Christian males were named Jesus. 😄

In today's edition of 'Things that never happened' 😅

My Dad used to think the Vesta curry and the chow mein were a culinary high.
He'd always form a circle of rice around the edge of the plate and pour the contents into the middle. 😄
I was surprised to see them on sale a while back in one of the bargain stores.
I resisted the nostalgic tug!

Always a good idea not to try and recreate the culinary past. Went to my niece's birthday last year which was 90s theme. They had Smirnoff ice behind the bar which I used to drink in the 90s. Got a bottle and couldn't finish it - it must have been 80% sugar, tasted far too sweet. But then again, I was much more drunk when I used to drink it as a youngster :ROFLMAO:
Was also disappointed when I tried Angel Delight a few years back.

I don't recall any other way.
That way was the picture on the box and in the TV advert.

As a yoof we always finished off a night on the beers with a round of Hooper's alcoholic ginger beer.
Don't think Hooper's exists anymore but recently closed an evening of Guinness drinking with a bottle of Crabbie's ginger beer. It was cleansing and delicious. Some things still work.

After drinking Guinness, anything would taste good :ROFLMAO:

Is there another way? Curry. Chilli. Anything with rice :-)
