Random Irritations

It's called accident and emergency, and what I had was an accident. 🤷‍♂️

How on earth would they examine me and give me an x-ray on the phone? 🤦‍♂️

My favourite with 111 is if a child is involved most of time it's "take to a&e"

They give you advice on the phone after listening to your symptoms. A+e is for life threatening situations, an accident as in getting run over, not a little boo boo on the ankle. People like you are why people having heart attacks die in ambulances waiting to see a dr

That's not the reason, people being drunk are a key reason.

Actually having an injury that needs an x-ray before they can tell is not a 111 situation

I agree with your point but in this case @Orikoru was right to go

According to my brother - who appears to have ribs made from the most fragile of porcelain - cracked ribs hurt a damn sight more than broken ones.
I could believe that - I haven't broken them before but did badly bruise the connecting tissue between them getting kneed in the chest playing in goal. It was several weeks before I could lift my arms without paid - turning over in bed was not recommended!

I didn't even know there was a distinction between A&E and 'minor injuries unit'. Or a walk-in centre?? Where would I find one of those? Either way it took the guy 5 mins to send me for an x-ray which is what would have happened anyway.

Or, tbey might have daid take some paracetamol and RICE it, so someone who actually needs a+e can be seen🙄
There's no way they would say that. :ROFLMAO: How could they possibly know the extent of damage over the phone? You've lost the plot. I'm sorry if I killed someone who was waiting in an ambulance, but I remember the A&E being quiet and more than half empty, plus I didn't hear any sirens, so I think I'm off the hook. And I was home by lunchtime so win-win.

Why on earth would anyone help her, there is absolutely no doubt that she is guilty for the murders that the jury found her guilty of, and quite possibly several of the others where they were undecided.

There is no way that public money should be wasted on an appeal
Surely some kind of sick joke ?

No, he absolutely wasn't...
I can vouch that in my local area, going to walk-in minor injuries clinic is far, far quicker. I took my son to one a few months ago after a badly rolled ankle playing basketball. We went on a Sat morning and were done and dusted in an hour, including examination, X-ray and results - fantastic service. Not to say we wouldn't have got that at A&E or another clinic in a different region.

Last min flight changes

We fly tomorrow

They have changed the plane, no issue with that but can't guarantee the seats we booked

Haven't said if boarding passes still work ? I checked in yesterday

It's the sitting together I worry about not the leg room

We went out 3 3 and 1 , 6 across and 1 behind just so we had easy assess to all the kids
