Cellulitis?! Had that a couple of times from bites that go nasty. I've gone full on long sleeves and trousers this summer when walking the dogs!

I picked up a bite from trip to Portugal that turned into Cellulitis on the ball of my foot which took 5 weeks of Antibiotics to sort out and no golf for 4 of them . Get better soon

Doesn't sound like the most relaxing holiday. Sounds like when I used to go on holiday with my FiL.

Don’t take any of them is the easiest way.

I do enjoy people watching on holiday and chuckle at the number of people who go away as a family who really don’t want to be there.

There is usually one parent who is the one in charge and dictates to everyone else what they are doing. One can usually spot the sim/daughter in law as they look miserable.

I would hate to spend my holiday having someone else dictate what and when we do things. I did twice as the in laws were paying. But there is a price to pay for selling your soul.

I go t'other way. Don't like going on holiday with the MIL as she has a definite superiority complex. So whenever holiday with "the familia" is mentioned, I just happen to be too busy to take that time off work. Contractor, don't get paid, becomes very expensive dontcherknow...

Happily HID hasn't cottoned on to my scheme yet!

That is 2 weeks where I spend time with my wife and we do what we want to do without worrying about the thoughts and sensibilities of anyone else. I’d go on my own if I could get away with it
