Arrived at 13:42 so not too bad. And they rang the bellI'm also waiting for a delivery from UPS today - although my estimate is slightly better, between 09:00 and 13:00. Will have to see how they do, especially after just reading some of the reviews

Was sat home late Monday morning getting ready for to go to golf when I felt a weird pain in my left shoulder. It was a niggle when I started, by the time I got to the 8th, it was killing me. Had to walk off after 9. The pain is now right across my back - it's like I've pulled a load of muscles. Had to cancel our doubles tie on Tuesday (opponents not very happy) and pulled out of the Seniors Strokeplay championship, the first round of which was today

That's good timing. My son sent me a fathers day present via DPD, Monday, failed to arrive within the time slot, Tuesday, nothing. I contacted them, they arranged for a drop off at a pick up location nearby. Wednesday, delivery not made. Today, contact DPD, the delivery was too big for the drop off location so they have sent it back to the supplier. Never thought to contact me to arrange an alternative
We used them at work for about 4 months. They kept failing to come in to collect, nobody cared when I complained. In the end we gave up on them.

dentists again. Just what the hell do they do for a check up? Six pokes of the metal spike. Your gums bleed and you need a hygenist to clean your teeth. I don't damn well think so. THey are evil people. Blood everywhere last time. And no wonder they are bleeding you stuck a spike into them!!!!! Booked in for the dentist to do a clean but have had second thoughts. Stuff 'em. That'll be another £60 notes gone for a bit of a clean.

Bread again. Was a tad wine drunk last night so fired off a e amil to a bakery regarding them printing the dates on the packaging. Guess what? THey they replied. Excellent! But can't do it as all their stuff is pre printed and ordered in advance, and they'd have to guess what they would be baking. So they can't, as yet, print dates on to packaging. Well that's how I read the reply.

You wont get a time slot with UPS, it isn't how they work. The driver gets the deliveries and does the route how they want to. The only exceptions are for pre 10am, pre noon deliveries. The operator is playing with you, don't hold out high hopes for an accurate delivery time.

If it's any consolation, I have a new PC case out for delivery today with DPD and just got my customary "Your driver Robert will deliver your item between 1038 and 1138 today..." and I can see a little picture of where Robert is (and he's never been late!)If I'm always the one at the 'end of the day' then potentially he will always run out of time before he gets to mine. I had a recent mare with UPS. Mrs ordered a 5 wood and the UPS driver delivered to a completly different address. Not even in the same postcode as me. Took nearly 9 weeks for their investigation to conclude and refund the sender. We were just in limbo. If we see an item we want to order due to come via UPS we will now order elsewhere with someone else that doesn't use UPS
