Random Irritations

You’ll wanna avoid the beach atm, seaweed has ruined it currently. Playa da rocha is superb tough.

Pleasantly surprised to find when I moved here that the popular beaches are cleared of rubbish each day including seaweed when its ‘in-season’, on public beaches its council workers and those that have hotels nearby have staff out from 6am. Makes a big difference and done by handrakes

I’m here atm, went to carvoeiro yesterday and tuesday. There intentions are good, but when there are jobs in the beach due to the build up, it’s not the best for views or smells currently.

I can imagine. Seaweed the world over will start to wiff if not cleared away

What a great example of “write an angry email, go to bed, wake up and delete it” 😆😆😆

You couldn’t even spell Meter correctly! I bet they just deleted it without even reading it 😂

Well you were wrong. Received a reply this morning and much quicker than their promised 7 to 10 days for a reply.....

Although I won't be holding my breath as they said the same last time I informed them what the problem was.

UPS tracking - 'estimated delivery: Thursday, by end of day.' Great, cheers for that. My wife is basically under house arrest now then.
You’ll be lucky if they even stick to that.
Worst courier company I have ever dealt with, make Yodel look like a competent company.
Check out their Trustpilot, so many 1 star reviews that begin “1 star only because zero isn’t an option”
Useless Parcel Service is more accurate.

Weird that Golfbidder are choosing to use them then. Decent company so I thought they'd go with a decent courier.

So many "big" companies use them. It's frightening.

The company I buy speaker drivers from are based in the Netherlands and used UPS until they got so many complaints that they dropped them and switched to Fed-Ex and DPD. Since the switch, I have had no failures in twice as many orders than UPS could muster.

In fact, I have a consignment from UPS that is from July last year that is showing as still at customs... (even though the customs info is that they were cleared within 24 hours).

I'm also waiting for a delivery from UPS today - although my estimate is slightly better, between 09:00 and 13:00. Will have to see how they do, especially after just reading some of the reviews

Lol well done… her email writing skills suggests she thought your letter was beautifully written 😂🤣😂

Had a real push to get healthy and lose some weight this year after pretty much a year off from a lot of exercise after my son was born in Jan last year - plus a very so/so diet!

And now despite losing over a stone and gaining some muscle - I'm falling apart :ROFLMAO:

Weird stomach issues
Had blood tests for stomach issues
Got a huge bruise appear away from the puncture site which concerned me.
Joint pain
Pulled my back (dodgy deadlift form I think)

I thought eating healthy, losing weight and gaining muscle was good for you :ROFLMAO:

I've thrown my back out as well somehow. I don't know if it's golf-related or carrying my baby around on my shoulder related. But it's agony right across both shoulderblades. The kind that makes you feel slightly sick when you move and feel it again. It needs to sod off by Saturday morning.

Christ, I'm trying to eat my lunch but my back is agony every time I swallow. What the hell? 😟

If you find a 'decent' courier for UK deliveries then let me know. They all have issues. The likes of DHL and Fedex, both generally very good, charge silly high rates for UK, they don't really want that business. The UK market is a race to the bottom and so that is the service you get.
