I hope you remembered before going that all supermarkets are closed on Easter Sunday.I'm off playing golf as the supermarkets open. I'll drop in on the way back but I suspect the shelves will have been stripped by then
Even the town Greggs was closed so no coffee for when out for my Sunday stroll.
At least all the bookmakers were open for those still wanting to gamble.

Doh, of course you are both correct. As it happens, I was so cold after playing, 14c and full sun my backside, that I didn't even bother dropping in to check. Saved myself the embarrassment

Use Adblock Plus. I get no pop-ups and no adverts at all.
Point is, I shouldn't have to install 3rd party software to use a simple forum.

It's their forum, their rules, and it's not as if you have to do anything hard or strenuous.....download and install some free software and you're done.
Plus.....it doesn't just work on this site. I've just clicked on Curry's homepage and adblock stopped 11 pop-ups.

I think you can go into your computer settings and cancel push notifications...I managed it somehow

I haven't enabled them. But get a constant request to enable them and/or sign up for a newsletter.

Unlike you, I don't like 3rd party software on my systems. Different strokes.You know how to stop it and yet you don't, strange.
Knowing how to do something and thinking it's a good idea or something that one wants to do are different things.

You're right of course but 763 million people who use adblockers can't all be wrong.
And it does work beautifully.
Give it a go and if you don't like it, uninstall it.
