The "Beach Boys" will perform their only UK date in July.
The "Beach Boys" being Mike Love (with Bruce Johnston) whom Brian Wilson and Al Jardine don't acknowledge.
I always saw Mike Love, when live, as a wannabee frontman who took attention away from the music by cavorting up stage.
So here he is, at 83, milking the catalogue alongside supporting acts David Essex and Lulu.
Retire your ego gracefully and be thankful you were part of it, Mr Love.
