I think 2 or 3 songs of theirs is my limit. A whole CD must become very repetitive. I don't want to think how dull a concert would be
For this, also read Status Quo. The most repetitively boring band in history.

Saw UB40 live many years ago. They absolutely milked Red Red Wine for all it was worth. Walked out before the end of the show. Shame, as I'm quite partial to a bit of reggae.
We listen to Popmaster each day at work, 3 hits in 10 seconds is the final test. The number of hits certain artists have is quite staggering at times. Nothing singers or bands having 30+ hits, yet I can not name more than 1.
To be fair, UB40 had hits at a time when you had to sell a lot of records to chart. They are genuine.
