If you just wanna just nip in quickly say to add your name to a comp sheet in the locker room or buy something from the shop etc etc, do you bother sticking on a pair of proper trousers, shoes and golf shirt??

Just wondered... my club aint that strict but I wouldn't get out of the car if i wasn't dressed right. Just doesn't feel right.
Am I being daft???

Do you think people really care?

If im just nipping down to put my name up for a comp etc then I will slip some trousers on, as im sure if I went in my tracksuit bottoms and trainers some of the old farts would have a right good whinge

i'm generally in wearing joggers, jeans etc quite a lot if i'm just going to drop my clubs off / put my name up etc. get the odd dirty look but jeans are allowed in the clubhouse now so they can't complain. if i'm there for more than 10 minutes i'll make sure i'm dressed appropriately.

I'd turn up in my pants and not be bothered. It's ridiculous even thinking about getting the "proper" clothes on to pop in. It's those that are offended by it that are keeping some clubs in the dark ages

If I was literally running into the locker room and nowhere else then I'd go in my trackie bottoms or jeans. Otherwise I'd put a pair of trousers on
