for me quality of the course and access to it.

All day long for me. I can get by if everything else is below average. The opposite where everything else is A1 and the course itself is poor is a no go for me. Of course we all want everything to suit us but if I could pick just one - its being able to play a quality course in great condition

Thank you for the replies, I did cut & paste those that I read prior to the meeting to show the varied things that people look for and feel are important to them when moving/joining a club.

I found the answers very informative and I thank you for the detailed replies.

I didn't get the chance to discuss the merits or points of them, or in fact many things I wanted to put forward as the meeting was quite disjointed, and to be honest, I left the meeting a little frustrated, disappointed and disillusioned

For me there are 3 main criteria
- quality of the course
- practice facilities
- how the course holds up in winter
