I don't because we don't use the PSI, Cards emailed to me and I check marker and players cards. Something different tomorrow as I'm out in the 4th group and will enter scores live as players come off the 18th.

Good point, on comp days would it be worthwhile paying 1 or 2 individuals to enter all scores, taken verbally from the players and verified by markers as they left the course.
Then cards wouldn't be required to be checked or kept, just a thought

Pre lockdown we made out partners card (name handicap etc) and Kept their score. We then input partners score in PSI having sanitised hands and wiped screen. Card then thrown away. Worked well and can’t see any issues with that system

We did that on the weekend with our Pro inputting the scores, worked very well. Late starters emailed scores in after he'd gone home and comp closed off at 9.30 next morning

One of the things that is interesting is that the club is in discussion with IG about allowing all members to have the PSI screen on their own computers via the website. Apparently this is possible but currently each individual has to register with IG.

We successfully played our first qualifier yesterday using Player Score Input via the Masterscoreboard website (Handicapmaster software). Everything went very smoothly with many players entering their scores before leaving the course but a couple of minor hiccups. One player had to be talked through the process of registering/logging in to the website, one said he had lost his card after verifying scores (very suspicious as he had a bad round after playing well since we restarted playing) and one who went off to see his parents, wasn't answering his messages and entered his scores at 10.30 in the evening.

That's the software we used for our first qualifying comp on Saturday. Again, things ran very smoothly considering it was the first time players had used their own phones etc to enter the scores. We had originally planned to put the scorecards with par or better scores into the box for verification but this was changed to everyone sending a picture of the card they marked to a WhatsApp group.

Both pl
Now committee need to decide on a method of verification
Both players mark their own score card and also mark their markers score in the markers column.
Cards to be placed in box just inside the locker room entrance. The cards wont be check/touched or verified for at least 72 hours after the comp is finished .(y)

Set up a test comp today and invited the members who had HDID on their phone to input scores. Very easy to use and over 60 guys had a play. The winner had 105 points

That reminds of a newbie using the PSI computer a few months ago who recorded his stableford score on each hole rather than the gross score.

We had one who did the same on Tuesday for his first attempt at PSI. He had 49 points and seven 2s.
