now they have changed to a different ball lift at Nairn all the issues people had have gone. the new one is just a small metal clip over the flagstick to the base. no issues at all now. even with the very thick flagsticks we have

What are you talking about? Obviously before your club made the change, everyone's bounce outs were down to bad putts. Just a coincidence I'm sure that since the ball lifts were changed, bounce outs have stopped
