We have just entered a team in the above event. It is a Texas Scramble. We have a 12.20 tee off time.

So far we have big slice, myself and the craw. We are looking for another forum member to join us. The entry has been paid so no cost

This is the first time it has been held this way and there will be a beer tent half way round and a fairly decent prize fund.

Any takers ?

no no at bogside it is the norm, but it is something im working on, its part of my targets and aims

Hi Valentino, count yourself in

Yesterday was very slow, partial open competition. We were thre hours and fifteen minutes for 11 holes.

I had a nr at fourth. Tee shot on railway line, second shot with second ball on railway line !!!! Not good.

Looking forward to the day.

Texas scramble will be good as, like you, I will see shots from different places on the course I don't normally get to, especially how far big slice is driving the ball just now. :whoo:

I am buddy and have another week left thankfully, 3 games of golf left and an overnighter up the coast. Would love to say the golf has been spectacular and it has for the wrong reasons

I have seen bigslice drive it well, he needs a name change.

Great time to play mate, courses are great and heat is good but not too humid. Played Grand Cypress the other day and have to say they are easily the fastest greens I have ever played on add to that it's a Jack design so greens are all undulating and can have you look silly very quickly.
