Some finish again today from Schaper he played some stuff.
Came out the traps flying this season
I think you will find the real reason is I have him on the bench in my fantasy team (along with Lindell).
Put him in the team and he struggles to make the cut.
I’m just waiting for a call from Rory to negotiate payment to leave him out for the majors this year.

Know the feeling well

Didn't see it personally, did anyone watch and is it the media looking for stories, or was the fan behaviour a factor?
I watched it.....was awful. As he was about to putt on the final hole, for the win, like just as he was starting his stroke, someone called out. He backed away but missed the putt after taking his stance again.

Then, on the first playoff hole as he started his backswing on the tee, another idiot made some noise, forcing him to somehow stop his swing in mid flow. he composed himself but then hit his tee shot in the water, to lose the playoff.

Dreadful behaviour. Apparently on the tee it was a chair falling over, but the timing of it, so soon after the previous incident, makes me feel it was deliberate.

Right on the top of his backswing - he had to bail out of the shot. Shame - I think he deserved to win and without crowd distractions he might well have done.

The event felt like it fizzled out tbh, the WM get's a lot of hype around the atmosphere but it was pretty flat for the most part. The build out is impressive though.

Wonder if we'll see Reed again before the Masters. Current ranking will likely see him into the other 3 majors without playing on tour.
Maybe in China or India.

He seems to be the sort of player who doesn’t mind playing wherever

Can see him playing a few more before the Masters

At the moment he is making the ET events more watchable for some and he is playing well

He does seem to play in a lot of events each year but if it was me building a schedule and having just played 4 weeks straight in the middle east, I’d take a fortnight off then play the SA Open then head to china two weeks later, leaving two weeks before the masters tees off then back to china 2 weeks later

PGA Tour coverage is abysmal at the best of times but Sky taking the world feed and employing a second-rate presenter and pundit to fill in the gaps has made it even worse. They used to do it so much better and actually elevate the coverage they received.

This season is reaching new depths in how often important shots don't get shown (near) live, or in order, or at all, or happen out of shot so we only hear crowd reaction, in favour of showing someone else who isn't in contention/is standing around waiting (because pace of play is horrific)/is signing autographs/is on the range/etc.

It's getting pretty unwatchable at this point.

There seems to be a desperation to find and promote storylines, when the golf is the product most people tune in to watch - why can't they just show it!
