I love how you are still pushing the dead horse that is LIVThis might be a good example of why LIV’s change to 72 holes might have been a bit hasty.

Sorry, seems I cursed them by posting yesterdayI agree with that.
The problem here is that players we thought might fire up and put pressure on the leaders (e.g. Hovland and Sullivan) have actually fallen away - so the contest bit is a bit lacking so far. Watching the world's least likeable golfer go round in +2 to win a tournament isn't the top level of drama. Lets hope Puig hits a couple of worldies!
Good to see Andy playing well, always liked him.Tell you what that was some birdie putt from Sullivan on 18 that snuck in the side door, got him solo second 843 thousand euros, that putt must’ve been a couple hundred thousand euro itself.
I still don't understand how people can call someone who hits the ball like this boring.Scheffler gives me Steve Davis vibes - it's like watching an accountant. Work out what number is needed, enter the number, move onto the next task. It's impressive but not spectacularly interesting.
Couldn’t agree more, creative short game, amazingly cool, perfect execution and a slightly funky swing. Stunning to watch and admire. If I wanted ‘banter’ and forced personality I’d watch TGL or Pro Ams etc. - Scottie plays proper golf unbelievably well.I still don't understand how people can call someone who hits the ball like this boring.
I think he's awesome to watch, so creative.
I'm not saying he's boring. He's predictable - especially on an easy set up like we saw at The Amex. It doesn't make for scintillating viewing imho.I still don't understand how people can call someone who hits the ball like this boring.

Or his not as good brother, CavityI just saw a picture of Blades Brown and thought it was Zalatoris. Separated at birth?
Also, is Blades his actual birth name?? Guessing his dad was always a golf fan. Look forward to seeing his chunkier brother Muscleback Brown arrive on tour.
His mother's surname is Blades Brown.I just saw a picture of Blades Brown and thought it was Zalatoris. Separated at birth?

Google his mother - Rhonda Blades. (truthful, not humour)I just saw a picture of Blades Brown and thought it was Zalatoris. Separated at birth?

If it bothers him that much, McIlroy should pay their fines. Or better still, pressure the DPWT to look after its own interests rather than those of the PGA Tour.
Few have driven the division quite like McIlroy, and he continues to do so.
He’s certainly the most petulant sportsman I’ve ever seen
(Not counting football, as there’s so many prima donnas in that sport)
I suppose on a Golf Forum, many of us have golfers in a higher place in our mind. And when we subjectively define someone as petulant, it doesn't mean much overall. It just means that person subjectively doesn;'t really like the individual, which is their right I suppose.I think in any individual sport you will find plenty of petulant characters. Just think of tennis.
