Thought there were a lot of unnecessary ad breaks in last night's coverage. Thought going with the world feed was supposed to reduce this? A couple of times Sky cut off the commentary in mid sentence, which was pretty rude. Also why don't we see the interview with the winner anymore?

You mean the interview with him on the course just after he finished? I saw that, it was about 5 or so mins after he finished I think.

The interview on CBS with Amanda Balionis. They showed her interview with Scottie but not the winner. Unless it was replayed later?
I'm just talking about the interview around the green, where they get his immediate reaction. I stayed up to see that (e.g. they asked about his massive wait to play his second on the 18th and how long he spent thinking about the shot, he said only one briefly, instead he just thought about other things, like how amazing it is to be there with the great scenery, etc).

In terms of the interview indoors after, I never wait for that, as they need to sign their card, get presented with trophy, etc.. From my experience, the program often ends before then anyway, unless it is a Major.

Ive just read, that Marco Penge has signed with PXG.
That is a great signing for them id say, he certainly gets talked about a lot.
Not the best start to life in the US for Penge but I really don't understand why he changed his clubs. I know that PXG will be compensating him well, but wouldn't it have made more sense just to leave a winning formula alone?

And lest we missed it - brilliant last round by Charley in Riyadh on Sunday sees her win a rather cool $750,000 - that'll pay for her house improvements and sees Charley up to #3 in the Rolex world rankings behind Jeeno and Nelly - the highest by an Englishwoman (or Brit?) since the Rolex world rankings started in 2006. Also Mimi Rhodes gets a top 10 finish. Ciganda also with a top 10 also a boost for her as she seems to have been a bit out of sorts for a while.

I don’t buy into the equipment change cause loss of form debate!

More to with the fact he’s moved continents, playing a tour with far more competition and it’s a huge step up. The courses he’s played such as Torrey Pines and Pebble are far more penal when hitting off line so he can’t just open the shoulders like he did last year. He just needs time to adjust and was always going to go backwards when he first went over there even if he stayed with Mizuno.

Interesting comments from Tiger in his press conference ahead of the Genesis.

1) Stated he’s back hitting full shots, though not overly well he hasn’t ruled out playing in the Masters.

2) He is considering if he can best serve the players by being next Ryder cup captain as well as the 2 PGA boards he sits on but is giving deep thought.

3) mentioned he can use a cart on the seniors tour so he’s seriously considering extending his playing career in a few events and taking advantage of that opportunity.

I’m hoping he doesn’t come back to the tour or playing majors.
Seeing one of the greatest players not only struggle to make the cut but even make it round the course was no fun the last couple of years he played.
And of course being Tiger every shot he played was shown on TV.
