Savoury: Chicken and Chorizo - A pub in Kings Bromley near the inlaws has a local bloke who does all homemade pies for them. His chicken and chorizo pie is flaming amazing.

For me, it has to be steak and stilton pie with a nice thick pastry. No stringy bits of meat, I want nice big chunks.

Only genuine Cornish. My Dad's bakery made them and I could manage a few when I worked there on a Saturday and made the filling.

Hate to be controversial but Melton pork pies are not even the best pork pies in Leicestershire and I work in Melton 100 yards from the pork pie shop
