Practice does work

After putting a fair bit of time into my game recently, the results are improving dramatically.

For the 4th medal in a row I will be getting a cut.

Gross 79
Net 63

And that was after bottling it, was 6 over for the first 14 with numerous tap in pars, birdie putts just weren't dropping. Then 5 over for the last 4, had a 6 down the par 3 15th, made an absolute mess of it.

So, all the folk that say you get out of the game what you put in, I am starting to believe you

Good to hear your practice time is paying off. I thought mine was until this week! Seems to come and go at the shake of a hat!

Well done that man. Would love to see the fruits of my labour but I can't even put togther a swing at the moment. Its always nice knowing its working for someone though, gives the rest of us renewed confidence.

For my sins I'm based in Greenock.

Play out of Greenock Whinhill Golf Course. It is a municipal course, but the course is in great nick. It recently held the Renfrewshire Golf Union Tri Am competition, which I think was won by Elderslie.

Greens are superb at the moment.

I'm getting really down on my golf suddenly. I've changed so much I've gone backwards and it's bloody frustrating. Hopefully I'll get it back and move forwards at some point!
