Potential Forum meet: Pumpherston GC

There's been some talk of getting some more forum meets arranged, and I've intimated on another thread that I'd be happy to try to arrange something at my place once the fixture-list for the new season was released.

It has just been released, and so I'm testing the water with regards to possible attendees and potential dates. We have a very active competition season this year, so there's not many free weekends available although our season ends in early-October so an mid-October date wouldn't be out of the question although light may be an issue and our Winter League usually kicks off soon after season end.

Anyhow, looking through the dates available that could potentially be used...

• Sunday May 21st (this is also the date for the Scotscraig meet, so unlikely)
• Weekend of 22-23 July - both dates currently free of any competitions
• Saturday 26th August
• Sunday October 1st
• Saturday 7th, Saturday 14th October and then any weekend thereafter (season ended, subject to winter league dates)

For this to be a goer, it would be ideal to get an idea of numbers and preferred dates from which I can approach the club. I can probably get a few of my playing group to join in and sign visitors on which is currently £10 a head.

May, July and August dates are no use for me but subject to the dates when winter tees come out (assuming they are not out on the day), Sunday 1st October is good for me and would like to visit Pumpherston as I haven't played it before.

Going to Nairn Dunbar the following weekend and assuming the winter tees etc. would be out by the weekend of the 14/15th Oct.

We'll still be on the full course on 1st October as our final counting comp is the following week... even if this doesn't take off, I'll get you along for a knock. :thup:
