No idea,,,, but will also be keeping my eye out for some tips :)

Although wind and rain together is a combo that kills my card without fail

A large plastic seal bag with lots of gloves in. A trolley with an umbrella stand. Put your towel up into the umbrella and hang it high on the inside. Bring cloths to change into for after....

Thats all I have got.

I will get in here early and say an Umberella :)

I usually wear waterproof trousers and a jumper. I don't really care much for waterproof jackets. They restrict my swing and I feel all tight.

I go gloveless as i get better grip. Keep you hands warm and always dry your grips after every shot that will save them getting all yuckie. Keep the towel in your bag hood.

Those are the exact tips my step dad passed onto me before I had a golf trip in bad weather! Except he said lots of individually wrapped golf gloves ;)

Forget the umbrealla, get a good set of water proofs, a water proof hat and some macwets.

Go prepared for it to be horrible, make sure you are warm and comfortable in the clobber you choose. 70% of the field will be so busy bleating about the weather and fannying about with umbrellas and drying grips that they are already out of the comp.

Just suck it up and go play.

Brollys and wind are a bad mix, pray for a helluva lot of rain to close the course ;)

On another note, I hope the forecast is wrong :(

I am checking the forecast every couple of hours, it has not changed for days =(

An approach I'm going to try the next time it's forecast to rain throughout a comp is to just wear a baselayer, waterproof trousers and macwets, then just let myself get wet, no messing about with brollys or jackets.
You couldn't do it in the winter but why not in the summer? It's only like getting wet during a game of football. So long as I'm warm enough I'm thinking I'll be fine. Embrace the Rain!

im the opposite. I prefer to leave the water proof jacket off and just put down the brolly when im about to take the shot, then back under as quick as a flash.

its has to be monsoon weather for me to go fully wet geared up !

Get a pair of MacWets and just get soaked. No faffing about with poncy sealable bags, brollies and guff like that.

GG's on from the start, no worries. And a snifter of Chopin vodie for the turn ;-)

I have a foolproof strategy. Stay at home! I can think of no worse place to be than a wet, windy golf course. Nothing you will do will stop you and your gear getting drenched no amount of umbrella's and waterproofs will stop the rain getting everywhere. I prefer Wetherspoons in bad weather getting ratted is much more of a fun proposition. In at 11am, out when I cannot talk properly.

I played a knockout match yesterday in wind and rain. Started off with high hopes even though playing against a 2 handicapper. By the 3rd I was soaked my grips were wet and slippery and lost 5 and 4. Sat in my garage in a neat pile was my bag rain hood plus bag complete rain cover various towels and all weather gloves. Can't believe I left it all at home. I normal put a few gloves in a plastic sealable bag. Have a towel in my umbrella and another in my bag for when the 1st gets wet. This normally works for me.but not if left in garage.

I normally towel them off and keep a towel under my brolly, however a brolly is a pain in the wind can turn your trolley into a land yacht too
