Best gloves for playing in the rain

We have regular seniors comps against about a dozen local clubs. I really enjoy these matches but we seem to have offended some pagan god of rain. This year most have attracted a deluge which in any other circumstances would see me heading for the clubhouse. Instead we have soldiered on for the full 18. My hands just won't work when they are wet and cold. I've tried a couple of wet weather gloves which just don't seem to help. Will get some MacWets but suspect it's probably more to do with being an old git than anything else!

Can you come and have a week's long worth of senior matches at my place then please? We haven't seen rain in about 2 months

I dont use them very often, but good old sport direct slazenger rain gloves work well for me.

On the subject of Sports Direct, ive been playing their Puma golf gloves - although they are synthetic leather they are really soft, but have lasted far far longer than any leather glove. Super impressed

Isn't that the entire point of synthetic gloves? If they didn't last longer they would be completely worthless.

well id say the primary reason for synthetic gloves is that they are a lot cheaper than leather. ive had synthetic gloves fall apart quicker than leather before.

Looks like decent value - what's their sizing like? (Compared, say, to FJ?)
I get m/l and they seem to be the same size as other gloves I've bought. The leather is a bit thicker I'd say.

Just went back to look how much shipping is. It says free and, I've just noticed, a 10% discount code at the top of the home page!

The first time I bought from there, I just bought one to check the size.
