The thing is whatever has happened, proven or not, is there in the background and it's hardly a major shock that it's been dragged up. The Woods mistakes in his private life are often regurgitated. I didn't know about his family feud or any of the other stuff about Reed before his win. I don't like his demeanour on the course (probably due to the RC and his top five in the world comments) but it didn't detract for me, and it shouldn't take anything in the wider golfing world from what was a gutsy and deserved win
