Is Patrick Reed just bloody lucky?

Patrick Reed is one of the nicest guys in the game.
Genuinely good bloke with a big heart. Let’s all try to stop punching down on the players that have reached levels in the game we can merely dream of

Well that’s ok when he has been shown to be cheating 😂😂

Ask his college golf team how much of a nice guy he is - cheating , stealing , being kicked off the team

Maybe there's a technical side to it - he is a draw player when most players are playing a fade these days. Maybe his typical shot is more likely to roll out a little bit, giving it more chance of rolling straight in the hole?
This prompted me to recall a chap at our club who had about 13 hole-in-ones.

He was small in stature, usually low double-figure handicap.
His shots were low draws with run. I never witnessed any of his aces, but played with him several times over the years.
I imagine all his aces pitched well short of the hole or even short of the green and ran into the hole.

I don't think my speculation or yours proves anything, but I find it thought provoking.

Interesting I’ve seen 3 now all by people with handicaps about 18.

And they were all short of the green and rolled up and into the hole.

I’ve got a lot of NTP in comp but they nearly all land near the holes and stop.

Maybe I need to start running my shots into par 3s
