Must admit i shouted 'yes' a bit too loud yesterday and looked around afterwards to see if anyone was looking lol - It was a putt to save par and around 40ft :whoo:

Now that is one where you should show no emotion. Just walk tall to the hole a pick it up. As though you do it everyday

Where does it stop. It may start will a fist pump and a yeeees. Before you know it your are high fiving, knuckle touching, whooping. You may as well move to Alabama and call yourself Bubba!!:p
 
Maybe we could arrange a forum meet of the grumpy old men brigade.
We could compete for the Victor Meldrew cup & perhaps extra points could be awarded if we successfully complete the round without wrapping a wedge around someone's neck.

I tried to be a bit light hearted, he accepted it, I think he knew he was being annoying.

I reinforced the point when I pitched in for eagle on the 18th and allowed myself a little smile. No whooping or any of that nonsense.

It's either a motorbike or a 21 year old russian bird off the internet, I can't decide !:confused:
 
I've recently found myself doing the Tim Henman fist clench followed by pointing at the hole on the way to picking my ball out. It's totally embarrassing and I don't know why I do it! Luckily, I only tend to do it with a Birdie or better (unless I'm having a string of pars), and birdies or better doesn't happen all that often! Phew!
 
It would have to be 1 hell of a putt for me to fist pump. However if i ever get a hole in one i might just have to do footballer celebrations so will probaly never happen :)
 
I find any pre planned celebration is a bit naff. I'm sure any celebration done by me looks stupid, but it will be genuine, and I won't have any control over it. It'll just happen.
