See my last post - they have not said it exactly but lots of hints and 'disbelief'.No one has called them cheats from what I can see
Also, I only hinted that they had been called cheats - just like the other posters have hinted

Rumours of pot hunters going round these team events have been going on for years. Not using those exact word but an awful lot of insinuation and clever use of language to hint that the poster doesn't believe the score is legit. You also said in post 125 that the format was "asking for people to fabricate scores" - what does that mean if you are not hinting the score might not be truthful?
Many things are a possibilty.Do you think it was a possibility @Swango1980 ?
Not rumours, I've been told of people that have done it. Not magic pencil stuff but purposely inflating handicaps before going to play in opens.Rumours of pot hunters going round these team events have been going on for years.
I think people have suspicions that some may be cheating. I really hope that is never the case.
That’s why I think prizes should be limited. Not rumours, I've been told of people that have done it. Not magic pencil stuff but purposely inflating handicaps before going to play in opens.
It would be interesting to know if they entered many other opens and how they got on in them?
Also what were the prizes for 1st place?
I think opens would be better off offering lesser prizes to more of the field than amazing prizes for top 3.
Yes people have been caught and had their HC suspended etcNot rumours, I've been told of people that have done it. Not magic pencil stuff but purposely inflating handicaps before going to play in opens.
I’m not fussed, my conscience is clear. Many things are a possibilty.
It is a possibility, for all I know, that you cheat in every single competition you play. But I've no evidence on that matter, so I wouldn't insinuate that. Even if someone posted a score one day that showed you won a competition with a great score. And, on that day, if I came on social media and posted the results with![]()
after it, and other people made comments that implied cheating is a high possibility, than it would also be a possibility that you would get extremely offended by what was being suggested.
