If I want to buy something new or second hand, I do a search, find what I want and buy it.

My front O/S wing on my car needs replacing so I did a search on breakers sites.
Before they tell you anything, first you have to register, then they want your life story.
Name, address, phone no, e-mail the lot.
Is this normal?
I only want to buy a second hand wing, not form a lifelong friendship and receive spam from them for the next 50 years

ebay?

I had a similar issue with scrappies when trying to get a wing for my Merc. In the end, I could have got a new one off ebay cheaper, and painted it myself.

Sadly, the car dies, so it wasn't necessary.
