Ive played on acouple of practice rounds with golfers from my local club & what Ive noticed is when there within one foot & some one in the group says 'you can have that' but they decide to putt anyway & miss & pick the ball up before the ball as stopped

do you think they should add on the extra putt they would have taken because they missed or just let it go

it is quite funny they go for the put realized they have missed panic and do another 1 or 2 rush putts and still miss :ooo:

When someone says you "can have that" pick it up. Simples.

[nb: in friendlies only and matchplay]

Didn't Sergio miss a 1 foot putt the other week?

Friendly games obviously have no strict rules, but if you concede a putt in matchplay that's it. It can't be rescinded or declined, and if the player putts anyway it doesn't matter as it's already dead.
