Wife has decided we need to economise on food and drink shopping so first out is the booze :( which I've agreed to as I need to lose a good few pounds. Consequence of this is that if I want a drink I need to use what we've got already at home.
With a half bottle of Gordons in the cupboard but no tonic I had to resort to a gin and orange and grapefruit earlier - not bad actually!
There is still some Glenlivet left - rare stuff indeed!

Home made Merlot :D

One of the couples we are friendly with has started making home brew wine. I was round yesterday, the stuff smelt like 100% alcohol. He said he still had to add finings 2 and 3 (whatever that is) but I just couldnt see how that could be as drinkable as retail stuff. I might have a crack at homemade cider, maybe add a few fruitier flavours into it similar to Kopparburg.
