Mrs 3OTT's friend workers at Tesco.
She sent her a pic. with pies on the shelves. Have not finished last year's yet, although it is only August.

Need to start finishing off before starting again. Thought Morrison's were great value last year

I've still got half a dozen boxes in the freezer. I might make a start on them soon but not yet, I don't want to run out 🥧

My wife found these on sale at the weekend. Big deal for me since finding them locally is not easy at all, so three packs bought to begin with and it let me 'get rid of' the last 2 I had been keeping from last year

Great find. How much did they work out per pie please in £'s or €'s?

Hope you treat her to a meal out for her effort!

I'm about to partake of the seasons first mince pie.
A Lidl deluxe number with the addition of almonds. Not one for the traditionalists but one has to experiment sometimes and live dangerously

I know some of you guys are real connoisseur of the festive mince pie. its fast approaching the time to stock up the cupboards, I am looking for recommendations for this years Christmas favorites.
My late aunt,
a non-Italian aunt through marriage, actually,
made spectacularly good pies, mince included.

She died about twenty year ago, and I haven't had mince pie since, I don't think.

By the way, in New England, we say "aunt" the way you do.
We don't say "ant' like most Americans.
Then again, we're physically located the closest to you among all Americans.
